John 1:14 tells us that the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. When we read this in English, it loses a bit of its context and meaning. The word used for Word here is Logos in its original language. We get our English word logic from Logos which points to deep philosophical thought as well; in a legal setting, Logos would be used to form a logical defense.
